My wife and I made an offer on a house we really liked and wanted to be sure we had a thorough home inspection done before we went through with the purchase. Denny, from Metro Real Estate Inspections, Inc., was referred to us by our real estate agent, Chrys. We were very happy with Denny’s services. Denny came on time to the inspection and was extremely thorough. We received our inspection report less than 12 hours after the inspection. Everything Denny mentioned during the inspection was detailed in the report. He sent pictures associated with each detailed line item for corroboration. At my previous employment, part of my responsibility was to shadow state architects while they completed annual site inspection of the nursing homes I helped manage. Denny’s inspection reminded me a lot of those state inspections. He did as thorough and complete of a job as the state inspectors I used to shadow. Denny tested every outlet, window, light switch, etc. He climbed up on the roof, crawled through the crawl space and attic, and looked at the home from every angle possible. He pointed out some electric panel and piping items that weren’t up to code. He alerted us to the what appeared to be mold for further evaluation by mold treatment professionals. And, so much more. The inspection was very affordable. I’d go as far as to say that even if the home you’re interested in having inspected is brand new, it’s worth having Denny come by and inspect it. Even if nothing turns up wrong, the background information Denny can share with you on how and why the home was designed in the specific way would be enlightening and could be extremely beneficial. We highly recommend Denny and Metro Real Estate Inspections, Inc.
