This review is specific to one particular type of inspection. I can't speak to their general home inspection practices. I didn't have any experience with EIFS and came across Dunsing when doing some research. We had a specific EIFS inspection done and the price seemed very high considering the amount of time invested. The inspection appeared to consist of using a Tramex Roof and Wall Moisture meter then drilling 1/4 holes anywhere that the meter said there was high moisture then caulking the hole. The cost of the inspection seems to be priced at the assumption of a lot of holes needing to be drilled or the fact that a lot of inspectors just shrug when you ask about EIFS. Either way watching the process, I felt a bit like I was watching some cash burn.
