Kurt is a great home inspector. He saved us from one very bad purchase and, when he went through this home, found that a few details that needed to be addressed but otherwise concluded that it was well built home. His opinion mattered to us -- as he didn't pan the home, we are very confident that we have purchased a well-built home that will last for years and years with reasonable maintenance.

Kurt spent 6 hours inspecting our historic home and educating us about masonry, moisture and other sundry issues along the way. His report was very clear and thorough and he was available to us for additional follow up questions and calls after issuing the report. He effectively summarized his findings and conclusions, giving us a big picture of what to expect from our new (old) home that has turned out to be very accurate. For anyone looking at an old house especially I would strongly recommend Kurt.

Kurt is the best home inspector out there, I think. He has over 25 years of experience, knows exactly what things should look like, and thoroughly inspects every facet of the home. When he sees something that looks a bit odd, he takes the time to examine it and appraise what has been done and what the consequences of not doing something properly are. In this case, he saved us from purchasing a home that would have required significant work in the future.

Excellent. Thorough, like Tomacor but without the negative reputation. A great resource post inspection. In particular, he discovered a flaw that all other 8 owners were previously unaware of and all had a mutual interest in fixing. How could so many purchases go through and no one know about it? Answer, many inspectors are not thorough and maybe they have the wrong interests to align to. Kurt: the best!
