Home inspections are a visual examination of the current condition of a house. If at the time of the inspection there were no signs of moisture damage such as moisture stains, swollen baseboard, sticky doors, peeling paint, sagging drywall, stucco deterioration or damage to the deck coating, then it would not be possible to determine there was or had been a leak at the deck area. I have reviewed the 220 plus pictures from that day and do not see any signs of moisture intrusion, deterioration or damage other than the significant rust stains from the HVAC secondary drain lines at that area which was noted in the report. I am sorry this client is unhappy with my service as I take pride in my work and always strive to find every issue with every home.
