Al prepared a thorough and professional report complete with photos and detailed information. His inspection was valuable in negotiating numerous quality-of-life repairs with the seller, and provided a great value.

Al was ok. He missed some things like the cap missing on the roof top vent leading to the stovetop venting system. He did, however, point out the fact that there was a possible fire hazard whereby grease could build up in the same stove top pipe held together with tape. My husband and I removed the pipe and also found approximately 1 1/2 feet of leaves in the vent which had obviously fallen into the roof top vent pipe. (Good fuel for a fire, huh?) Also immediately after moving in we found that the air conditioner leaked from the overhead ceiling vent. Had to have this repaired as well as we had to have new coolant added due to malfunctioning A/C. Also shut off valves in both bathrooms were almost rusted through and needed to be replaced. (Kitchen valves were previously id'd by Al but not bathrooms.)

I found Al to be quick while being thorough and my significant other showed up 15 minutes or so after I did for the home inspection and he was willing to go through his findings over again.

While I was not present for the inspection, I was very impressed by the report that Al Atkison provided following the inspection. It appears to be quite thorough and was easy to understand.
