Dave is incredibly thorough. He's a professional engineer so he was able to provide me with a very detailed diagnosis on a house with a sinking back porch/addition and a settled foundation. He gives you a list of exactly what needs to be dealt with now, within the next year, and within the next 5 years. He was also responsive over the phone, and I was able to schedule a same-day inspection due to a cancellation. I actually ended up doing two full inspections and three (?) pre-inspections with Dave due to the crazy market. I've worked with a number of other inspectors and no one I dealt with was close to as knowledgeable as Dave.

Dave's an Engineer and that's a plus. He did do a very thorough analysis of this house's structural issues - which I was very concerned with. That said - I have had inspections which were more thoroughly done. He wasn't very familiar with the boiler system of radiant heating or the skip sheathing on the shake roofing. Never pressure tested the water - which I consider a basic inspection test. I'd give Dave a grade of "B+".
