Rich at Pillar To Post went completely above and beyond what anyone would expect. The inspection was incredibly thorough and I never felt like he was trying to upsell me on anything. Their prices are comparable to other companies and their service is amazing. Rich is incredibly candid and kind. The day we moved in, our boiler was having issues, and Rich was kind enough to come help us, even though that is in no way part of his job. It turns out he is one of our new neighbors and he was happy and willing to help us out. He completely saved us and I am so grateful that we met him and chose this company to do our inspection.

Our inspector, Mac Mclaughlin, was amazing! He spent 6 hours inspecting our house; he was very very thorough! He answered all our questions very well and his report was top notch.

We got a very thorough inspection from this company. After bringing out a couple specialists however, some of the report findings were overturned. This isn't a bad thing necessarily, but it would have been nice to save the time and money we spent on the specialists per their recommendation.

We had Mac come do our review. He was great. Very detail oriented, and helped us go in with our eyes wide open. We have already given him one referral and will continue to recommend them.

Our inspection was very thorough and the inspector was accommodating and helpful. Also, having the final report in a binder and electronically has been nice. We also found it very useful, wise and financially prudent to order a couple of the extra services.

I actually had Rocky do my inspection. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to look specifically at things I was concerned with. However, now that I'm in the house, I found a few things he didn't catch. He'd noted lightbulbs were not working, but many just weren't screwed in all the way and when they were, they shorted the circuit. He also mentioned I should repair some plumbing so it didn't leak but instead of being precautionary we found that after running a sink for a bit, it had a visible leak. The wiring on the oven was also somewhat dangerous when we officially checked it out and that wasn't mentioned in the report. Overall, he helped me identify a lot of issues so I could get them fixed, but I think a little bit closer look at some things would have been nice. However, he did fix a setting on the garage that was causing it not to close, so that was great.

Fred's inspection was thorough and well-organized. He provided great recommendations and was an excellent resource.
