Dan was great. Both the attic and crawl-space in my house are very short and not explorer- friendly, but this didn't slow him down; with ninja-like agility, he went into every corner of both. He walked the full distance of the roof noticing and pointing out EVERYTHING. He fully inspected and tested every appliance in the house and took multiple moisture readings in the basement. He taught me a lot about home maintenance and provided me with a list of seasonal and annual maintenance items that I wouldn't have known until it was too late. His thorough after-action report gave me all the 'intel' I needed to make a good decision and assess priority to household projects. Thanks for everything Dan!

Initially, Highland Home was excellent. Our inspector, Daniel, was very kind and knew his stuff. Unfortunately, after moving we had a possible problem with carbon monoxide that was detected by BGE. (note: This is an area that Highland Home inspected and signed off on). When asked to remedy the situation, Highland Home was initially agreeable. However, the inspector never showed up the next day. When my husband called to find out what happened, the serviceman had another scheduled inspection and didn't call to let us know that he wouldn't be coming. We ended up hiring a plumber/electrician to fix the problem. If it weren't for that issue, we would have rated Highland Home MUCH higher based on the service we received during our initial inspection.
