NEVER EVER USE THIS INSPECTOR. There is a reason he no longer builds homes and has to inspect homes instead. Discovered that this was the same inspector that the first buyer, who backed out of the purchase, used. After contacting the inspector about the inspection that he already completed for the first buyer, he pretended to not realize he had billed us for an inspection he already completed on this home. After some discourse, we agreed that I would pay him 2/3 original cost at $475 for his time at the property and a report for us. He never produced a report, which caused issues with our inspection contingency. He did not provide a refund and continues to make excuses on why he is unable to provide a report or a refund. I will most likely file a statement of claims through the calvert county court system.

Rick was thorough during his inspection and made sure to point out key parts of the inspection process to me as a new home buyer.
