Tom came highly recommended to me by a relative of mine. Tom is an excellent broker and was always there to help through the process. He is very accessible at all times and is very forthright about what the options are. He is extremely organized and prompt with anything pending from his side. He was helpful in getting through the red tape associated with documentation in loan underwriting process in at least one occasion. The rate itself offered by Guaranteed Rate was okay but not spectacular given that my credit is pretty good but I wanted to go with someone who was trusted. His team is okay with the paperwork processing etc. but probably not as organized as he is since I had to follow up with them a bit from time to time. However, I have no real frame of reference since this was my first home purchase.
