My wife and I were looking to upgrade to a larger home. We were looking online at numerous properties located in the Douglasville, GA area. We saw a few we "kind of" appreciated, but wanted to view the properties, to see if there was one that caught our eyes. There was one agent (Kiah J Turner) who met us at a property, who was very gracious and pleasant. But we didn't like that property. So we went back online, still searching. We then saw 2 other interesting properties. We scheduled a tour/viewing. We were met with a very condescending, obnoxious, fast talking (typical sales person) rude agent named Sherri Tutt. First impression, she was over 45 minutes late to view the first property. Then while viewing the second property, my wife and I felt pressured, due to she constantly was telling us how she/we should design or change things in the home. I was trying to be as pleasant as I could, not to upset my wife. After viewing the property, she insisted that we sign all these documents with her, as she will be our agent to represent us on this home. Please understand, we NEVER stated to her that we were ready and this was the home we liked. In addition, this was not a Redfin property. It was listed under Atlanta Communities Properties. I could never try to contact anyone at this agency, due to Sherri Tutt, supposedly knowing the listing agent. After so much pressure from the phone calls and texts from Sherri, we finally agreed to work with her (only because, the property was somewhat of what we were searching for). The next pressure was lies from Sherri Tutt, who constantly stating that she was "emailing" documents over to me. Half of which I never received!. If you are to represent me as your buyer/client, then you should make sure that I do have any said documents. What was happening, Sherri Tutt was sending (or resending) document over to us after the deadlines for the due diligence. The major issue, we had put down the Ernest funds to secure the property, while obtaining a loan. Things didn't go as planned. Sherri and the seller (who's daughter works for Atlanta Communities Property) were in cahoots together. So now our dispute/fight is to obtain our Ernest funds back, that we put down on the property. It's sad that the way the real estate market is going, that if a loan is not satisfied within the due diligence time, the customer/buyer, should receive their funds. I guess if the Redfin "person" = Sherri Tuff must not be doing good in this market or the seller agent with Atlanta Communities Property, are not selling properties. DO NOT work with REDFIN or ATLANTA COMMUNITIES PROPERTIES, as you will be ripped off!!!
