When we hit a major hurdle along the way, she was on top of it - not only did she spend a lot of time on calls with the bank in concern, she also found creative ways to seek out helpful information from the county when the bank could not complete their research in time. Dan and his team know the real estate industry quite well. Unfortunately, some of the information they know so well are things that go over the average home buyer's head and we needed clarification from them. They knew exactly what needed to be done and were very thorough to make sure all documents were properly put together. Dan and his wife who assisted at our closing are very good at what they do and make sure things get handled as quickly as possible. Some people in their office however, took a bit longer to hear back from and made us feel outside of the loop. Overall, I would work with them again and they would be on the top 5 of my list of real estate attorneys to work with.

I used Dan on both the sale of my old home as well as the purchase of my new home and he and his team were great to work with! The timelines on my sale/buy were such that we did both transactions from initial offer to signing at the closing table in less that 30 days. Dan was great about personally calling whenever there was something I needed to be aware of, potential issues, pitfalls, etc. and his office staff was responsive and efficient on all of my routine (and occasionally dumb) questions. Buying or selling a home is stressful enough but Dan and his staff made it as straightforward as it can be.

There were a number of occasions for contract review, negotiations and extensions; and they were able to handle them all timely and with good communications. At our closing Dan's wife attorney came and she did a wonderful job explaining the documents and representing us well. We'd highly recommend him and his office staff!

I had 100% confidence in Dan Collander's office. His team was extremely competent in the process and we had absolutely no issues. The only downside we found is that his office is extremely busy (perhaps since the spring buying season had started heating up), so there were times where our phone discussions were very brief. If you expect to need a lot of face time, it may be worth taking this into account.
