Hunter Chandler Law Group is by far the most unprofessional business I have ever encountered. This business is run by nobody but rookies. It's a company that works closely with the real estate company Ivester Jackson Properties (God forbid you ever work even with these folks).
I happened to have the misfortune of selling my house to a possible scam artist from a tax evading country with the assistance of Hunter Chandler law group, who were recommended by the buyer's real estate agent, Stacy Label (another blockhead). During the course of the sale of my house, I went through a series of undesirable events (which included an insurance claim after home inspection) that required my agent and her firm, Redfin contact the NC Real Estate Commission on what needs to be done to facilitate the sale of my home. I was impressed by Redfin's proactive and prompt nature in coming out with a solution which also was the recommended solution by the NC Real Estate Commission. However, the rookie Attorney could not follow the recommended method and simply told us that "the firm is not able to hold the insurance money in escrow. We just don't know how to do it". Seriously, which muttonhead made this boy an Attorney who oversaw my $250K transaction? Begrudgingly, I was forced to heed to what HCLG and Stacy Label wanted me to do and I anxiously awaited the closing date. Finally, when the closing date arrived I was hoping to see the proceeds from the sale of my house in my bank account. To my surprise, the money is not there yet. My agent and I called Chris from HCLG who in turn rudely asked us “what’s up? What’s going on?”. Here I am on the closing date at 5 pm wanting to find out why the sale proceeds are not deposited into my account and this knucklehead has the audacity to ask me “what’s going on?”. HCLG, Stacy Label of Ivester Jackson Properties, and the buyer, were all responsible for delaying the sale of my house, and also having paid me late in time. I mean when HCLG and Stacy Label are helping a possible scamster from one of those tax evading countries to buy my house, you can certainly expect to be paid late. You never know who your working with once you’ve entered into a contract.
To all who are reading this review, please save yourself the trouble of ever working with HCLG or even Ivester Jackson Properties. They don’t send secure messages/attachments of your back documents, SSN’s etcetera. In times where hackers are aggressively wanting to steal your confidential info, this company is careless at the least. These people don’t check their emails on time and will bombard you with last minute request on sending them information.
Stay safe and secure. Stay away from these people.
