Everything went as expected.

I didn't have too much interaction with the Title company, other than depositing my check, and going through Escrow. The conversations I did have with the team were very professional, and I felt they did a great job of letting me know of key deadlines and when the loan was funded.

Chicago title's team made the escrow process effortless. All the communications are send via secured encrypted portal and our escrow contact was super easy to reach out to. Huge thanks to Kristina Tabada for a smooth escrow process.

Absolutely the worst, most disappointing experience we've ever had with a company that is supposed to be professional, reliable, and accurate. At every single stage, we were provided inaccurate information (as an example, the first estimated settlement statement was off by over $200k because they hadn't taken the time to review the estimated loan payoff statement or the commission details of our contract), information was emailed to the wrong address (ironically they labeled their emails with rude, in all caps DO NOT FORWARD warnings and yet they typed the wrong recipient address 5 times in a row), unresponsiveness to requests for days, etc. It was one disaster after another. To get a correct estimated settlement statement, I finally had to call a member of the Prim team and literally walk her through line item by line item. Then errors they had corrected from that phone call were un-corrected, and put back into the final settlement statement, before closing. It was unreal how many issues we had and it all stems from a complete lack of attention to detail, which is really the main thing you're looking for in a title co. Would never use again and absolutely never recommend to a friend.
