They did what they had to, but didn’t go the extra mile. I was waiting on a lien to be removed from the property i was about to purchase. I assumed they would be on top of it, however i ended up having to call the county myself to resolve the lien issue and had to call them and tell them the info. Not only that, but they did not bring up the deposit amounts for the tenants that i was inheriting with my purchase. Because of this i now may have to pay almost $1500 out of pocket to these tenants to return their deposits that were never transfered to me. I feel like this is the job of the Title company to make sure these things are accounted for.
