I won't choose them again

Monarch was 'assigned' to us through working with our former agent. We decided to stick with Monarch after parting ways with our agent as a matter of convenience. Big mistake. Their rates turned out to be one of the highest in the market; they misrepresented what they could / could not do, which I had to independently research and correct; their documents contained errors and problems even up through the day of closing. On the day of closing, their counsel was unable to answer any questions regarding the documents. Everything about Monarch was overly-expensive compared to other options and for sub-par service. Luckily we were competent enough to defend our own interests, but that should not have been our responsibility or an additional stress factor through this process.

So professional. We were in and out. Great location as well

They were terrible. Do not use them! Listen to Kim or your other Redfin agent and use the title company that they recommend! Monarch was a horrible title company and very poor customer relations and service.

They were able to accommodate our location, however were missing and had incorrect figures on several documents. And even have requested I complete and fed-ex them a document after the fact, which they forgot to have available.

Monarch Title performed their basic function but did not go above or beyond in any way. There was minimal communication during the process (we had to call to confirm wire transfers were received, etc) and there were no options presented for title insurance (compared with other companies that provide options). If competency is to be rewarded, then sure, they are competent.

It was not a horrible experience but I did not enjoy working with them.

Got the job done, but not the friendliest or most helpful folks.

They handled every little detail with ease.

The easiest closing I have ever experienced! The documents were ready early and were able to sign and notarize almost 2 weeks prior to closing. Funds were timely deposited into our bank account :)

Monarch Title makes closing pain free. They make the paperwork and closing process understandable for someone who does not work in the industry.
