Weighted front door swings effortlessly closed after opening onto an elongated oval entryway with dual flanking alcoves. In front of entryway is a grand foyer, which is directly in front of the grand staircase. Staircase has small wood floored landing which includes a semi circular sitting area, with included small balcony behind. Stairway then splits into two with both leading towards the upstairs on opposite sides. On The right hand side it opens onto a bedroom with small walk-in closet, funky Jack and Jill bathroom with claw foot tub and alcove with perch, fireplace, and a sunroom. On the other side of bathroom is a second bedroom with a small walk in closet and exit onto the landing. Next up on the right is a small bedroom with access to the HVAC system and a small walk-in closet. There is also an exit to a small balcony. Next door on the right contains a bedroom which has been taken down to the studs. It features a fireplace, a small closet, and a restroom with claw foot tub and original toilet plumbing. This brings you to the left side of the staircase and a short hallway leads to a small bedroom on the right hand side. This bedroom features an alcove with a perch which overlooks the neighbors yard. This room has a window unit air conditioner. It also offers access to some semi finished attic space, and includes an unfinished walk-in closet. At the end of the hallway there are two hallways; one leads up, one down. Upstairs takes you into a semi-functional but mostly unfinished third floor which is honestly large enough to contain most peoples houses these days. The stairs leading down end on a small hallway. This side of the hallway there’s another set of stairs leading farther into home. There’s a laundry room at the end of the hall, and another laundry room to the right side of that. Lower staircase leads (presumably) to basement type area. On the other side of laundry rooms is the kitchen with built-in pantry and tons of shelving. This leads through to a sitting room which connects with the front den style living room, which then opens on to the front entryway. Set the left side of the front entryway is another den style living room, this one also features a fireplace. It leads through to another living style area. On the opposite side of the glass doors here is a sunroom/ anteroom with outdoor access. This house has the ghosts of splendor and decadence with extremely great bones, but make no mistake, it would require a lot of work. It currently smells like urine, there are lots of unfinished spots in the house with exposed insulation, and there’s just some funky touches that would need to be fixed (best guess, 70 year old carpets).
