I am a kind of guy who believes on people more than any supreme power out there. I have believed Sarah since our first time phone conversation. She is honest and love to help. I am hopeful she will stay as is. I am greatful for what she did to me. I won't forget that one day I was taking walk. It was off working hours. we stayed on the phone for about an hour. She was giving me options and adding numbers to come up with the best option. She is the best.

Sarah was always available to answer questions and she answered them promptly. She made the mortgage process really easy. She also helped me understand points and locked me in at a wonderful rate!

Sarah was extremely helpful throughout the process. As a first-time homebuyer, she explained everything in great detail and ensured I understood the process and each step before we took it. I felt she genuinely cared about helping me being informed and aware of all my options.

Information was not straightforward at times. Software was glitchy. We were required to provide documentation almost instantly but we were not contacted during reasonable hours to do so while working full time jobs. Everything the company required of us felt urgent but we were not provided documents for review in as timely a manner, and then received multiple emails asking if we were going to sign things. We were asked multiple times by various employees for documentation we had previously provided.

We worked with Brian Evans from Redfin, who coordinated all the work with Bay Equity and Title Forward. The communication between the team and us was fragmented and disjointed and we were provided with inaccurate information at several points along the way. We would not recommend Bay Equity.

Working with Sarah was a simple and straight-forward process. She helped answer all of our questions in a prompt and professional manner. The whole financing process is a bit tedious and overwhelming, but Sarah and the Redfin Mortgage team made it bearable. If the circumstances allow for it, I'd love to work with this team again in the future!

Sarah is a very nice person but our overall experience with the mortgage service side of Redfin made us feel like a broken record as duplicate information was requested at various times and then our closing was delayed due to an 11th hour request for information which we could not reasonably produce in less than 24 hours as the request required us to contact my employer's accounting firm for records which should have been requested much earlier. I don't think that our problems were due to Sarah herself but perhaps due to others on the mortgage team.

The process was easy and RM had the best rates around from the 3 or 4 we looked at using. Plus we trusted Candace and wanted to stick with her the whole we through.

The fact that the loan is immediately sold to an investor whom I don?t know is not ideal, since redfin is unable to answer questions about recasting the mortgage once I sell my other home. Also I felt like there were way too many people at Redfin involved and none of them were talking to one another.

Sarah was great! We really appreciated her help get pre-approvals for offers and then getting everything together for the actual loan application. Her emails were very clear and made it super easy for us to follow, as first time home buyers. Thanks to her we were able to get our loan and close on our house quickly.

As a first time homebuyer Sarah helped us every step of the way. She was super patient with our frequent requests for updated pre-approval letters. The process was challenging at times. We were extremely responsive on our end in submitting everything needed. The communications were disjointed, with some members essentially non-responsive. Having multiple POCs to work with proved cumbersome. While being told we were on target for closing, we weren't cleared to close literally until the last minute, partly due to incorrect paperwork being ordered. Our local realtors had to get involved to keep things on track. While the process wasn't as smooth as our prior home purchases, the overall value was worthwhile, including a $1000 lender credit at closing. Those that did respond were nice and professional, and I am hopeful these were just growing pains. We have bought and sold homes with Redfin agents, and was hoping the lending process would be equally as streamlined. It is not, but I am hoping they continue to improve.

Mostly positive experience but, as with any mortgage, LOADS of document request, which is to be expected. I would only recommend a little more clarity in the requests: if what is needed is X months of a document set it might be helpful to have the request phrased that way, as the buyer might better anticipate what other items might be requested. A rather small thing but could make things better/easier. But, overall a positive experience and I'd recommend Redfin Mortgage and Sarah and her team.

Sarah was perfectly nice, but not sure if I would use them again if I could go back. She wasn't always as prompt as I would have liked and sometimes when we spoke I did not feel as if she wanted to understand.

Sarah and team were great. We switched to Redfin after significant issues with a different lender. Sarah gave us clear answers, realistic expectations and somehow turned around a tight timeline.

We had great communication with Sarah. Thanks to a very close review of our closing disclosures my wife and I were able to identify circa $2K that we didn't actually need to pay for. We traded emails with Sarah and eventually we got everything sorted out. From there everything went smoothly. We were glad that we scrutinized the disclosure though. She went above and beyond with us to be flexible with a quick turnaround time in closing after several days of delays that were beyond her control.

The only issue I had with Redfin Mortgage was communication with the other team members and last minute freak-outs during underwriter review.

The team was great in helping me work through some problems that come up with moving funds. Being able to use the on line portal to upload documents made a process that can be very annoying as easy as possible.

I actually don?t remember Bay Equity but the financing experience was pretty pleasant.

Sarah was super responsive, informative, and helped me understand the entire process of buying a home without any problems. I appreciate her willingness to educate me and explain (more than a few times) how things work. I never felt any pressure or negativity during the entire process.
