Brian provided guidance, support, and thoughtful advice every step of the way throughout the transaction. In what can often be a very stressful experience, Brian brought knowledge and insight that created a seamless experience. All involved parties from Redfin were consistently pleasant and hyper responsive.

We had a fairly difficult closing due to a variety of failures on the part of the seller. This forced Brian to essentially keep the mortgage on track for a considerably longer period of time than is usual (75 days). His communications were professional and specific, and his diligence was essential to the purchase finally occurring. We highly recommend Brian and would work with him again.

Worked ok and helpful people. But felt like there was too many contacts to deal with and had to send things multiple times to multiple people resulting in mixed messages etc. But it did make some parts easier.

Redfin's Mortgage services were relatively smooth and simple to use. The only issues we had with it was when a mysterious name appeared on our alias list and despite trying to get information on it we were continually left in the dark on how to address it or have it removed. But other than that small detail, everything was very professionally done.

Very easy process, Brian is very professional, on point with all doc's that he needed from us and Laura in California was very nice and professional, easy to talk to and explained everything very well in our main language Spanish that was a plus. I will missed receiving calls from everyone but the most important we had our mortgage approved and we have our dream house. Blessings to all?

You worked quickly to make our closing in time!

Although the process was stressful due to miscommunications and waiting until the day before closing to submit the loan information, I appreciated the money I saved with Redfin.

We did not have a good experience with Redfin Mortgage, so much so that Redfin Agent claimed he was instructed to no longer use Redfin Mortgage. I have no doubt it?s a busy time in the industry, but there was a real lack of communication and frankly appeared to be a lack of competence on industry practices. Redfin Mortgage definitely was the cause for closing being pushed back, and almost for the deal collapsing. I gave a 2 and not a 0 or 1 because everyone involved was very nice, but nice doesn?t get you far in a real estate transaction.

While the mortgage process is complex and typically time consuming, working with Redfin Mortgage was particularly difficult. After we were under contract, our entire loan drastically changed because of an error by Redfin Mortgage that should have been caught prior to our pre-approval. Individuals were difficult to reach when we had questions so as first-time homebuyers, we were frustrated throughout much of the process. While the communication between Redfin and Redfin Mortgage is streamlined, I would not recommend using their services for this minor benefit due to the poor service received. While I acknowledge we had a uniquely challenging situation while buying our home, the quality of customer service was disappointing.

I had a relatively smoother process with Redfin Mortgage. Given that I worked with them for the first time, I have closed several mortgages on other properties in the past. I can say that there was a lot of inflexibility shown by the mortgage coordinator when I tried to close the mortgage sooner than planned (I had a closing date of more than 45 days from the date of contract) given that Redfin prides on closing within 25 days. I kept getting surprises until the loan was closed literally a couple of days before closing when I saw the email from mortgage coordinator reviewing and flagging some inspection contingency . I mean where was he when we had completed the inspection and resolved all with seller over a month ago. Most of all, I was told that I will have to bear the cost of extending rate lock. Overall I think it is not exactly what they say that they can close under 25 days. Keep you on the edge until the loan is closed. Not the greatest of experiences.

Approved at last minutes. If you want peace of mind, would not recommend.

We came into the process tied in with another Mortgage Agent. After one phone call with Brian Gross we were sold that going with Brian and Redfin Mortgage was the best for our family. He was well versed in what was needed, friendly, and most of all, he was completely honest at all points in the process. Even when it wasn't to his benefit to be honest. That meant a lot to us. Besides all of those pluses, Redfin Mortgage was by far the most competitive from a financial perspective that we saw in the market. Well worth the phone call! I would highly recommend giving them a look if you are considering a new mortgage!

Brian Gross was great getting us set up and pre-approved, however, we can't say the same for the rest of the Redfin Mortgage team. We had to email and call numerous times to get info/answers to our questions. It seemed like everyone else just passed things along and not accountable.

The process was staggered, I did not enjoy it as I had to send the same paperwork to multiple people as the leads kept changing due vacation . It did cause some unnecessary anxieties
