Encore Escrow made critical errors related to two critical escrow activities as we were trying to close the transaction delaying escrow close and recording. This resulted in four additional days of mortgage interest charged to both buyer and seller. I called Encore Escrow two times specifically requesting to discuss the matter with the escrow officer, but I did not receive a response from the escrow officer. Encore Escrow did not acknowledge and accept responsibility for the delays, and their fees were not financially impacted by the delays. Next time I will give greater consideration to the escrow company I select.
