They did not disclose on additional fees for the second HELOC loan until last minute when we sign everything. It was a small amount so we don't really care about the money but was unhappy how they kept this until the end. Everyone else who work with us say this is not a common practice. When our agents asked for credit because lack of proper disclosure on our behalf they pushed back very hard. Guess that's how they pay for the fancy office in Del Mar. The seller chose this company so we don't have any choice. Will never use them if we sell in the future.

From the start, our Redfin agent locked in an incredibly competitive escrow fee with Oakwood--which was wonderful. We worked with Danna Fore and she was absolutely delightful. She answered all of my specific questions about the escrow documents and provided great recommendations (like calling your mortgage company for a payoff quote in advance) that save us time. Our house closed in 30 days, yes 30 days, no issues and on time. It was flawless again- like our entire selling experience. Very pleased with this escrow company and their appreciation for the military (they do give a small discount).
