My property was closing while I was in Germany for work, so we had organized my wife to sign for me using power of attorney. I had signed all the papers around a month prior and was told everything was set for my wife to sign in order to close. I get a phone call 1 hour before my wife is to sign while in Germany with Sandra saying she found an error that she had missed on the POA docs and we might not be able to close, which would result in my mortgage rate expiring, loss of earnest money etc, an absolute disaster. Not only was there nothing I could do about the situation from Germany, but Sandra who was both the notary public and the escrow officer and thus both legally and morally responsible for the error immediately began blaming me for the mistake. At no point did she apologize or take responsibility, and to make matters worse she didn't even inform my agent of the matter or respond to her when she reached out to contact her. When my wife went in to sign she let me know that Sandra further assigned blame, and questioned why I would've made an error signing the documents, again not accepting any responsibility in the matter. Luckily the error did not end up blocking us from completing the purchase or the deal closing, but I cannot help but feel that Sandra was trying to hide her role and pressure us into accepting blame in case everything fell apart. Prior to this Sandra was fine to work with, but after the finishing experience I could never in good conscience recommend using Palm West Escrow to anyone it was truly a horrible ending to the purchase.

Megan was helping us through the process and she was super nice and helpful. As first time buyers, we had a lot of questions and Megan patiently explained everything to us and helped us understand the all the details.

They were very helpful with the forms that we weren’t very familiar with. Very responsive as well and answered all our questions quickly.

This was our second transaction with them (one selling and one buying). In short, they are amazing and works so hard for their clients.

The only good escrow is a closed escrow.

The communication and availability were pretty good. Had a couple of small issues with clarity of paperwork (we were a long distance close). All in all, solid.

Not all forms are available on Docusign.....and reconfirmation of wire transfer bothered me...

The folks at Palm West were great; they made sure to answer all our questions about the escrow process quickly and completely, and were extremely efficient and helpful when it came to preparing paperwork, amendments, and having us sign all the final documents. Our escrow process completed smoothly and without a hitch.

They accepted our money with no hassle and gave us receipts They were conveniently located in our area They sent us reminders of what we needed to do, and were quick to respond to questions We connected them with our insurance co and they handled those details on their own We got the house on time! 10 stars!

They were very patient with us as we had a short turn around to keep on our tight timeline. They were very accommodating.

Competent, but weirdly unprofessional in their communications.
