Pickford is owned by Prudential. We were buying a property from Prudential and I'm pretty sure they have some sort of scam going where they charge the Seller's escrow fees to the Buyer. They refused to show us evidence otherwise. Their messenger and notary are overpriced and unavailable (notary does not travel to you and messenger wasn't available so we had to drive to Brentwood and deliver it ourselves). We organized our own notary and messenger but Pickford still charged us the messenger fee. We had to go back and request a refund after the sale.
