Adam was excellent: friendly, thorough and extremely helpful when I had a follow-up question about outlets. He walked me through the circuit breakers so that all were working properly.
I was extremely satisfied with the At Ease Home Inspection's services. They did a meticulous inspection of the house and provided me with a very comprehensive report that explained in detail any issues they found and provided pictures of those issues so I could visually see them. The report was extremely helpful when contacting contractors to get estimates for recommended repairs. They also took the time to answer any questions I had. I would highly recommend them and use their services again.
This was the second time I used At Ease Home Inspections for a home purchase in the last two months. The first time they did such a thorough job, I withdrew my offer to purchase a property because of all the costly repairs needed that they found, which I was unaware of, as these issues had not been disclosed by the sellers. They provided me with an extensive report including pictures of the discovered problems. They are well worth the costs for their inspections as it saved me from making a very expensive long term mistake. When I found a second property I was interested in purchasing, I naturally called them again. I trusted them to do another thorough inspection which they did. Thankfully, this house was in much better condition with very limited repairs recommended. Because of their great service, I purchased the second property with the confidence in knowing I was getting a safe and comfortable home.
We didn’t feel the inspector was professional. We didn’t appreciate the sarcasms. However, he found on issue with the siding of a home we had under contract and that was very helpful!

They over looked some electrical issues that we need to address now. The bedroom lights turn in the lights outside. The master bathroom plugs don't work. They were nice but I wish we had know before moving in.
Vince was my inspector and he spent longer than I expected conducting my inspection (which is a good thing!). He was very thorough and provided me with high level summary observations before we left the property. He then produced my inspection report later that afternoon which exceeded my expectations in terms of turn around. I will use his inspection report as a checklist of repair items that I will need to get to in the near future. Very professional, timely and educational. If I am in the market for inspection in the future, I would request Vince be my inspector.
10 rating for ability to schedule a home inspection with AT EASE and timely arrival by the home inspector. He was friendly an professional. The issue we had arose when the inspector identified wildlife / rodent droppings in the home inspection and after the fact, communicated to the sellers that he felt it was a non-issue. We found this out through our agent, and it almost cost us the purchase of the home. They refused to acknowledge that there was any issues. We scrambled to get 2 professional opinions on the "non issue" wildlife item identified, and in both cases, it was recommended that inclusion should be performed on the house. The cost to fix this "non issue (flying squirrels and rodent activity" amounted to $2K plus, and ended up being a negotiated cost in our closing. In inspecting the wildlife issues, it would have been more helpful to say he identified the issue, and needed a professional to look at the breadth and depth of the problem.
