This guy is a master at his craft. Technically sound and very patient. Extremely detailed oriented and willing to talk. I was happy with his services to say the least.

Carl was great in explaining every detail especially those that may require much more than a simple fix. I appreciated his attention to detail and willingness to answer in a polite manner some of my layman's questions. Highly recommended!

Carl is the most professional and thorough home inspector I have met. He identified a major structural issue in the house we were planning on purchasing that a previous inspector had not found. The inspection with Carl was pricey, but not nearly as expensive as buying a house that would require tens of thousands of dollars of work to make it safe for our family.

Carl is a fantastic home inspector. He is thorough, meticulous, and took extra time to explain any issues he could find with the 1952 home that I ended up purchasing. I called Carl specifically because the property I wanted to purchase had a seller home inspection which omitted inspection of the plumbing in the crawlspace. It's possible the seller's inspector was a massive person who could not fit, but I had to know more. Carl told me over the phone that if he could physically squeeze in there, he definitely would. And he did. Carl did a thorough crawlspace inspection, told me about plumbing issues, and recommended what trade inspections were needed. I also got a kick out of seeing some high school students freak out when they saw Carl in his crawlspace uniform. Carl knows his busines and does a great job. You should hire him. My inspection was money well spent.

Carl knows his business very well and he was very thorough during the inspection. We got a short inspection contingency period and he was able to inspect the home with short notice. He explained me all the discoveries, I was able to follow him, ask questions and hear his opinion on how to fix certain things. His assessments were genuine, he provided me some suggestions in preparation when I deal with a plumber or a contractor. I would strongly recommend Carl.

The scheduling for our home inspection was great and the assistant of mr. Henley was very helpful giving us information about the process and what to expect. Mr. Henley came out on time and spent several hours doing a thorough investigation of the home and the report we received was complete and comprehensive. Despite this, the service didn't quite live up to our expectations. In our past experience, a big part of the goal of a home inspection is that the home buyer walks away with a better understanding of the home and its major systems. During this inspection there was neither time nor willingness to share knowledge or information with us and the approach was very much to stay out of the way of the inspector and then read the report later. It seems that when paying close to $500 to gain knowledge, questions asked shouldn't be a bother. It left us with the impression that mr. Henley was very busy interacting with other inspectors doing their work at the same time and the Redfin team and lost sight of who his customer really was.

Carl very experienced. He pointed out large and small items, and is not afraid to get dirty to properly assess an item. And we used his report for basis for further successful discussion with seller.

Very thorough inspection.

Carl was awesome. I can't imagine that anyone else could provide better home inspection services. We actually used him twice, because the first house we were in contract on turned out to be an attractive, but extremely shoddily-done flip. He really went above and beyond to find non-obvious issues, crawling into scary-tight spaces to find stuff that our pest inspector couldn't. He spent a very long time (probably much more than he'd planned on) inspecting that place and gave us extremely detailed reports, both in person and in writing. Both of which led us to back out of the deal, and we are extremely grateful for his opinion on that house, because it kept us from getting stuck with a money pit. The second house he inspected for us, he methodically inspected on and reported on the problems that it had, but he made it clear that we'd made the right choice in backing out of the prior house and that his opinion was much higher of the house we ended up buying. If you want to know what you're really getting into with any house you're buying, you can't go wrong with Carl.
