Paul and Bill were excellent, extremely thorough and reasonably priced. Even though the house we purchased was relatively new (~20 years old) they went through everything imaginable and pointed out a few things in need of repairs prior to closing. In addition to a great inspection report (over 50 pages), they gave us several tips for continued maintenance and will always be available should we have questions. We needed an inspection of a third floor condo unit. The inspection was due to start at 9am, but Paul and his son were there much before the scheduled time checking around the outside and taking pictures. We had to wait a little while for the agent to show up to let us into the apartment, so he showed me what he'd found in that time. Once we got inside, he poked and prodded at everything. He showed us how unstable the porch was by giving it a hard thump with his fist. I should add that this was a gut renovation which had just been completed, and Paul still found a few items that were not ship-shape. Also, it seems like both the seller's agent as well as the builder respected Paul since they agreed to make all the repairs he recommended. The only thing I was not happy about is that I only received the inspection report the following day while it would have been really helpful to have it later on the day of the inspection.

Paul was very thorough in his inspection of the home. He already had in-depth knowledge of the home as he had performed the home inspection for the seller. Both he and his son were very informative as neither I nor my wife is very handy. Even better than the experience of walking through the home during the inspection was the detailed inspection report he provided us. The electronic document included pictures which clearly identified any concerns about the home. We would recommend him to anyone.

Absolutely the best inspection we ever had. Even the agents (ours and seller's) were amazed, in that it took 5 hours (older house). Bill was superb at testing, explaining and documenting everything he did. Based on his inspection, we got a substantial credit at closing. Even more importantly, we got an 88 page inspection report, complete with photos, which documents the projects we will undertake for the next several years.
