Very detailed inspection report that came with pictures and videos. I would have given him a better rating. However, the inspector was impossible to reach. I tried for over 3 days to make an appointment, via email, phone, and thru website scheduling portal, to discuss details about my inspection report to no avail.

This company was fabulous. They did a very thorough inspection and took the time to explain anything we were unsure about.

Unfortunately, the inspection reports were consistently late. and in one occasion he almost lost the file all together.

The inspector left nothing uncovered. It was a little scary to see the report at first but that means he did a great job. I would use them again.

We loved Irik from PDX Inspect - he was fantastic. He gave us the important information first and let us decide if we wanted to continue the inspection (we elected not to). He is thorough and detailed and not afraid to tell a buyer bad news. I have worked with other home inspectors who have been less thorough and less up front about issues.

PDX Inspect's Irik was a detail-oriented, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic home inspector. He had vast knowledge of historical building practices due to his past construction experience and passion for construction and building techniques. This came in handy as we were purchasing a house built in the 1920's. He helped to level our expectations for home condition as well as reassure us on items that were typical for the home's age. He provided a full inspection report within four hours of the inspection, and continued to exemplify his knowledge and skill for assessing a home's condition. He promptly answered all follow-up questions we asked via email and even offered practical advice regarding how to address issues that we decided not to include in the repair addendum. We would not hesitate to recommend Irik specifically or PDX Inspect as a whole.
