I had a hard time choosing a home inspector. First I looked on yelp but the reviews vary so much I was kind of hesitant. Earnest recommended a few home inspectors which I was also hesitant about because I heard that the inspectors RE agents recommend are more concerned about getting the deal to close rather than the actual inspection of the house. This turned out NOT to be true. I would definitely recommend JPI. I have used home inspectors before, and JPI was definitely the most thorough. They used thermal equipment and inspected every square inch.
