They were very helpful with many issues in the house and explained things very well. But the main thing they missed was that the water valves to the washer were not working.

The inspection was as detailed as it could get and Dennis Pelczynski explained everything to me in a plain language so I can understand every detail. The next day I received a nice report with a list of actin items which was extremely helpful. It explained the items which needed repair and included pictures and suggestions for proper actions as well as priority level for each item! It was all I needed to directly follow and plan the repairs with my contractors. The list truly saved me days or perhaps weeks of going back and forth with the contractors to prepare a similar list!

Dennis was nice to work with, very detail-oriented, and extremely careful and thorough. His report was extensive and documented even the slightest potential issues, with many helpful photos to back it up, and he also provided recommendations and timelines for us on when we should consider making various repairs—whether they were crucial, immediate fixes, or things to keep an eye on and consider addressing a few months or even a year or two down the road. We highly recommend Beltway Home Inspections to anyone buying a home.

Beltway was incredibly thorough and wonderful to work with! The report they issued us was so much more than we expected. Pictures and descriptions were beyond what we could have imagined. We were not able to be at the inspection in person, but they still did a tremendous job keeping us informed and video-called us after the inspection to go over everything with us. Detail oriented. If I had to use just one word to describe this company it would be detail. Beltway was super responsive, looked at every detail in the house, and left me with the guidebook for both minor and major renovations. I feel much better knowing that I had a knowledgeable and professional company inspect the home prior to making the final decision to close.

Beltway Home Inspections was very responsive, especially considering how "hot" the housing market is right now and how inspectors are mostly booked. The first time I called, I missed them and got the voicemail. I called about half an hour later and was able to get in contact. Greg was very thorough in his inspection of the house, and took his time to make sure that everything was inspected with care. He was very patient and took me around the house to explain basic things I would need to know--shut off for water in the front and back, the life of the furnace, etc.--as well as things to watch out for (that were then explained in greater detail in the inspection report). In the future, if any inspection needs come up, I will absolutely ask Greg if he will be my home inspector again!

I had Dennis reconduct an inspection on a house that had been previously inspected by another buyer. I was able to see both reports, and Dennis' thoroughness far exceeded another inspector looking at the same house. Do you want an inspector that looks at the roof with binoculars or an inspector that climbs into the attic (although they don't have to) and uses +25ft poles to take close-up photographs of your roof?
