Ed Snope

Ed is super knowledgeable, observant, and thorough. We used him for three inspections and felt confident that we were getting a solid evaluation of each home and property. He educates on the issues he sees and gives advice on how to address them. I would definitely use him again.

Ed was recommended by a friend who also recently purchased a home due to his thoroughness and fair pricing. He provided great insight from the major items to even the little touch-ups that could be done. We came out of the inspection very informed about the home we were about to purchase. Ed was even able to assist with questions about the inspection report weeks later to address any additional concerns.

Found Ed/Atlas Home Inspection via online and decided to hire him as my inspector because he was quick to return my request and had availability to get the inspection done quickly. During the inspection, he was able to explain everything he was assessing and provided feedback on whether they were major/minor and how it could be mitigated. Highly recommend his services.

First of all, Ed was incredibly flexible when it came to booking an appointment, and even called to let me know an earlier time slot had opened up. His fee was in line with what I was led to expect for a home inspection. He was punctual, and then incredibly thorough and knowledgeable. Throughout the inspection, he provided a running commentary of everything he was looking at, and what should be done, if anything, to make it better, stronger, safer. I learned a good bit and also realized that as a homeowner, I will probably be spending a lot of time around caulk. His report arrived within 12 hours of the inspection, complete with photos and detailed notes. He even sent a list of companies and contractors that he knew dealt with specific issues that had come up. I was very impressed by Ed's professionalism and expertise. I would highly recommend his services.

If you are reading this you are most likely in the stressful process of buying or selling a home and wondering; “Who’s a good inspector?” Congratulations, you’ve found the inspector you can trust and respect. When I first saw that Ed has 5 out of 5 starts with 46 reviews I was skeptical, but then though; “who has 46 friends that would fake a review to bump up a rating?” Answer; no one does. Feel free to read all the reviews - I did. You will see a pattern of his professionalism and conscientiousness. My praise will only echo all other 5 star reviews. Is Ed really that good at what he does? Absolutely. Not only before and during the process, but great service after the sale. He has professional relationships and recommendations for anything that may come up on the inspection report. So don’t freak out if his report is lengthy. He can point you in the right direction of tradesmen to help you make an informed decision on cost and repairs. I recommend you book Ed ASAP. He’s in demand and worth every dollar you spend in taking the first step in one of the biggest financial commitments you may ever make.
