Working with Kevin was great when we were determining which company to go with for a mortgage, but Movement did not impress us once we made an offer on a house. For example, Kevin was very friendly and communicative, but after our offer was accepted, we then had three "primary" points of contact inside Movement instead of just one. Additionally--and I don't know if this is something standard to the mortgage industry and therefore we would have had this frustration anywhere--we were often told to "take all the time we needed to read and understand" the documents we were about to sign but also that they needed to be signed an returned within 48 hours. The way Movement Mortgage can facilitate a very fast closing is great, so if you have already found a house and want to move quickly, I would definitely recommend them. If you are looking for a pre-approval while you house shop, I am not sure if I would recommend Movement.
