Sherry is an energizer bunny! We had so much fun working with her. She did a ton of extra work to help us make sure we got in our home on time. She always kept us updated on what was going on and was sure to make sure we were comfortable and informed about everything. She made our first time buying a blast as well!

Oh Sherry, where do I begin! You are amazing! We went into this process, not knowing where we stood, or how possible it was for us to buy our first home.. She, in depth, and to the point, told us exactly what we needed to make our dream come true. Every time I went to write something down that she was telling me, like a Mom, took us by the hand and said "sweetie, I am emailing you all this, write it down if you will, but I got you guys!" She found us every way possible to get us in to this home, with as little as possible, by way of grants, etc. You usually hear of this long process, with lenders that make you do all the work. In this case, with Sherry, she makes your work minimal, and is right on point with what we needed to close this deal! With every step, that should've taken a longer period, she blew us away with how fast she made things happen! It was as if we were the only clients she was dealing with. I strongly believe that without her knowledge of all, and her love in making this happen for us, we could've never done this! Sherry, thank you, from the bottom of of heart! We love you! Sherry was amazing, I ran around different banks for months before i was recommended to Sherry by Melissa Lewis-Hutton's. First time i spoke to her i had my Pre approaval letter in my email in less then 30 mins. She made the whole process so simple for me, and notified me of every single details and changes all along. Even on days she was out town , she made an extra effort to stay in touch with me and keep my process running without any glitches. Thanks to her & Melissa i am homeowner today.

She talked/bragged a lot about how good she was at her job and especially about her step son who played for the Ducks...alright, whatever, it was a short interaction, so we smiled and nodded a lot. But then we would get weekly emails, letters and even texts from her and the real estate agent we worked with. They would send stuff out jointly asking for recommendations or inviting us to marketing events, it became so annoying and even now, 6 years down the road and a move out of state, we still get the mailings (I blocked their emails and phone numbers). The absolute worst is they would just randomly pop by our house every 6 months to a year, completely unannounced, and want to chat, come inside, pet the dogs, talk to my kid like they knew her. Completely inappropriate and when I shared these feelings with Redfin at the time, nothing changed.

Sherry Vance was an absolute joy to work with. She made the whole process of buying a home and establishing the mortgage silky smooth. She also went above and beyond by having her company sign up with Washington's MCC (Mortgage Credit Certificate) program to help me take part of my house's interest as a monthy credit on my income, instead of simply a deduction at the end of the year. What I also absolutely loved about Sherry is that she is "real" with you. When you talk with her and work with her, you get a real person; someone who'll be straight with you. If there's something wrong with your loan, you'll know and you'll get advise on what needs to be done. She'll also swap stories and jokes with you and shoot the breeze now and then; you don't feel like she's constantly trying to rush you through things. When you get the first pile of loan paperwork, she'll call you up (or meet with you; your choice) and go page by page, giving you the summarized "end all" of what you're signing in simply, straight forward terms. Her and Melissa were awesome to work with and made the whole process of finding my home smooth. :)
