There was some last minute scrambling for documentation for underwriting that I wish would have come a few days earlier, but the team's communication was clear and fast so we got everything taken care of in time.

Jacob and the team at Cornerstone seemed like very nice people and I know they were trying hard. Service started great with a very efficient and customer focused pre-approval, but the last 10 days prior to close were a nightmare. Everything from requests to change rates with a week to go, to delays in closing date due to a last minute paperwork miss, to even requests for further paperwork signing post close. Again, seem like very nice people (we all make mistakes), but they really dropped the ball a number of times at the end of our closing process and the extent and number of miscues got out of hand.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Jacob and his team. They stayed in touch with me through each and every step of the process. I couldn't have asked for a more positive experience. Since this was my first home purchase it was nice to feel as though my hand was being held through stages that would have otherwise been completely foreign to me.
