I would highly recommend Sonika if you want peace of mind throughout the process and a highly communicative/attentive team. Rates were generally in line with other local banks but the customer service I received from Sonika and her team was best in class. She was fully involved all the way from making the offer (Speaking to the listing agent to vouch for the finances on my behalf) to closing the deal ahead of schedule. She was always prompt and set clear expectations of the next steps in loan processing. I pestered her with questions on a pretty regular basis and she was more than happy to explain things patiently. If I had to do it over again, I would definitely choose Sonika and her team at First tech again without reservation.

Sonika hustled to get our preapproval done so we could submit a bid for our home. She kept us well-informed during the process.

We had another Lending agent before Sonika and it was really painful so we switched to Sonika ans wow... Sonika was awesome... we moved from outside of US with no credit score, she was great, walked us through the entire process. She was thorough, quick to respond and even called the buyers we were giving offers to and got us a lot of info around what was going on. A true true partner... She is the best...

The closed on time. We hit a problem with the interest rate after we were supposedly locked. Sonika had to escalate the issue before it got resolved. Overall, we got a bit stressed but things worked out fine.

Sonika has been a great help with my first time home purchase. She provided me all necessary information and was always ready to answer any questions I had. She is very responsive and just because of it I was able to make an offer on our dream house on time. She was also very supportive during closing process and provided me with instant updates on my loan application. I am very pleased to work with Sonika and would definitely recommend her and FirstTech.
