Chris and Amber were absolutely amazing during my entire process with them. I was a first time home buyer and was rather clueless when it came to the process of mortgages and purchasing a home. I went with Chris blindly, but I’m extremely glad I did. I told Chris from the beginning that I would need hand-holding during the process and he was nothing less than stellar during the entire ordeal from meeting in person during pre approval to being there by my side during signing of my closing paperwork with the title company. He was available 24/7 via personal cell/text and email—late night, early morning, and even on family vacations (I don’t know when the man slept). He was courteous and professional but extremely personable during the entire process. He knew I wanted the lowest APR and he exceeded that. I was able to lock in a lower rate with lower closing costs and even received a credit from the lender. His professional recommendations were precise and I truly trusted his decisions. One of Chris’ greatest strengths is his speed. He had me underwritten immediately which helped on my offer (one of the reasons it was accepted). I closed in less than 30 days even with a major national holiday disrupting the process. He is unbelievably expeditious. Frankly, Chris and Amber are amazing. You may, but I highly doubt, find a trivially cheaper rate elsewhere but you won’t receive lower closing costs, the service of an amazing personable and available local lender who underwrites you immediately, and the fact that he’s well known in Salt Lake and gives a personable call to the seller’s agent upon making an offer. That type of service, you don’t get anywhere else.
