I think working with Chris was our favorite part of our home-buying process. I cannot tell you how much I really appreciate McLean Mortgage in helping us getting a loan. I first went to Bank of America, thinking being a long time member would help me get a loan, sadly I barely got any responds! So I reached out to McLean Mortgage as suggested by my realtor, and they really worked with me in getting that loan amount. They helped me knowing what factors affects the decision in giving me loans. I was suggested to pay off this card or that card, to make sure my debt to income ratio is within range for the loan. They helped generate different scenarios if I use both of mine and my spouse or just one of us. They really did get to know us and helped us through the most frustrating time in the house buying process. They did not try to rip us off by telling us to get this or that, they were straightforward, helpful, make us feel valuable and they treat us like people, people who are looking to buy a forever home; which is not like big banks that treat us like commodity and has no value. I would totally opt in for smaller mortgage company and leave the big banks for checking account.

Chris was awesome to work with. Not only did he have the best rate we were offered, he was also super responsive and organized. We got a better deal on the loan than we were expecting and Chris was very easy to work with. Our closing was seamless, no scramble to the end because Chris was organized the whole time we were working with him. I would absolutely use Chris again.

Chris has made our first home buying process an absolute BREEZE. I've read horror stories on other first time home buyers with different lenders giving them a headache. Not with Chris. When I first decided to call McLean Mortgage and Chris picked up- he was about to go to an airport to catch his flight. Even then, he took his time in explaining the process and reviewing what he needed to push through our pre-approval. After our seller approved our offer, I immediately contacted few loan officers that I was in communication with. Chris, of course, was the very first one to respond. Although they were not the cheapest, we decided to go with Chris for his kind demeanor and how patient and thorough he was to us for the entire process. We definitely needed a little more hand holding when it came to mortgage, and Chris did just that. I couldn't thank Chris enough for making everything go so smoothly!
