We were buying and selling at the same time and the inspector that came to view our current house spent maybe 30 minutes with us and mostly interviewed us on the condition of the house. This is probably because we were selling to investors who were going to bring in their own contractors and fix anything according to flipping it for resale. We did get an emailed report a few days later, but we were left wondering what the outcome was during that time and had no idea how much the buyer would come back and want in seller credits from us. In comparison, Home inspections by Nolan inspected the house we were buying and it was a completely different experience. They spent almost 4 hours going over every single square inch of the house, came in and gave us a verbal report, and then delivered a detailed report by email the same evening. Even though we were willing to pay full price, it was really nice to know ahead of time that we were probably going to need to invest in some new insulation and windows, so throughout the rest of the process, we kept that $$ figure in the back of our heads. That print report was also really helpful when we needed to go back through the house and fix the little things. Ultimately , these guys were super friendly, professional, and completely thorough. I couldn't recommend them enough!

This is a family business (a father and a son), and they very highly recommended. They are always booked, and we're kind to plug us in their schedule on a short notice. Jamie, the lead inspector on our home, was quite good and quick to inspect the house and provide a detailed report with what is good and what is not good in it, and walk through a summary of that at the end of the inspection (took a bit over 3 hours for two guys to inspect the house). As I didn't have a good idea of what proper inspections should be made for the house (never lived in Florida before), Jim, his owner, was quick to point out that some of the inspection items and procedures I requested were unnecessary. Overall, we were very satisfied with the inspection. Costs a bit more than other inspectors quotes, but their work is worth the money. Would highly recommend them, and would call them again for future inspections.

The Nolan family business took excellence care of us during the inspection period. They spent the time to look through every system thoroughly and identified currrnt as well as potential future problems. Excellent work from Jamie helped us pinpoint a roof leak that would have become a headache. Wound use them again and again!

We were disappointed that the inspectors moved up the appointment. We dropped everything to drive over to the house (1.25 hours) only to pull in the driveway to find out the inspection was complete. For the money we paid we expected to be present and be able to ask questions about out any concerns we may have had.

Jim and his team were prompt, professional, polite, and extremely thorough with their home inspection. Every detail on the house we bought was noted with a picture, if needed, to further describe the issue they were discussing in the report. Even a missing screw from a switch plate that already had one screw was not left unnoticed or unwritten about! I definitely recommend Jim Nolan and his team to anyone selling or buying their home. With Jim you can feel confident that he will give you an honest report after a very thorough and honest inspection.
