Steve is the BEST home inspector. He is so meticulous, and happy to talk through any and everything you have questions about, even after the inspection. He does as much as possible to identify issues that might affect the safety and value of the home, but also spends a good amount of time just educating his clients on how to care for their homes, solely because he wants to help. Very thorough. He found items, such as the chimneys, HVAC issues, electrical issues and sump pump battery backup, that we had not noticed. He was very patient reviewing his findings with me. The report was detailed. I recognize that these are items beyond what he could inspect, but I would have appreciated insights on what the damage to the chimneys could mean (the liners need to be replaced) or that such a large portion on the house is on one circuit.
