Zoom was founded by longtime Washington State resident, Brian McDowell. Brian’s expertise includes over 35 years in the contractor and home inspection businesses, serving over 4,000 happy clients.

Brian’s passion for client delight, clear communication and his knack for zooming in on the details, led him to launch his own inspection service. The home inspection process - scheduling, inspecting, waiting for the report - often causes delays in the home buying process. Brian set out to minimize the wait to get home buyers the answers they need quickly without compromising inspection quality.

So Zoom was born--the place to go for home inspections, quick and complete.

Brian was amazing! We were promised that he would have access to the house and that contractors would be out of the way. This didn't happen and Brian was unable to inspect the home on the first day we scheduled. Brian graciously came out the next day, without charging any additional fee, and completed our inspection. He took a lot of time with us, answering all of our questions regarding some new home construction concerns. He even sent us the inspection report in time for our meeting with the builder the very next day. We plan to have Brian back before our 1 year new home warranty is up for a follow up inspection.

Never met Brian face-to-face. Our agent coordinated everything and what I got was a very detailed phone call before making the offer, and an even more detailed written report after offer was accepted. The written report is gold. It's pretty much the roadmap for home improvement / maintenance over the next few years. While Brian was hesitant to give ballpark estimates on how much repairs would cost, he gave enough for me to understand what I'm walking into. The whole thing was as smooth and convenient as can be and I would gladly recommend Brian and Key Inspection.

Brian was highly recommended by several acquaintances, and we can see why. As first-time home buyers we were naive to the inspection process, but Brian set us at ease as he proceeded through the inspection process, pointing out various aspects of the house and explaining each step of his inspection process, and taking time to answer all of our questions. His thorough and detailed work identified a number of hidden issues that led us to ultimately not proceed with the transaction.
