James Gonzales

James is an outstanding home inspector. He is extremely thorough and goes above and beyond what is reasonable for his clients to expect (e.g. flying a drone to inspect hard to reach roof areas and using a moisture gun to test walls, vents, etc.) He takes his role in the buying process seriously. His attention to detail discovered plumbing issues for a recent purchase that ultimately saved us well over ten thousand dollars.

He found a leak that a previous home inspector missed. Thank goodness. It turned into a $30k mold and reconstruction project, but we got the seller to take care of it. If he didn't find that leak, the repair would have been our problem.

Jame was great to work with! I did not have anyone in mind to use for a home inspection and Shannon, my real estate agent, recommended him and gave him a glowing review. I don't disagree! James was thorough and took the time to walk me through my home and explain everything that was either not to code, or needed to be fixed ASAP, as well as the things I could put off for a year or so. Without James, I wouldn't have known my ductwork was alumo-bests (aka lined with asbestos) and crushed. I luckily got that fixed immediately, otherwise who knows what my family and I would have been exposed to over the years. I appreciate James and his inspection. I would gladly recommend him and use him in the future!
