For the amount of money I paid for the inspection I had some issues from the day I moved in that I felt and still feel should have been caught by the inspector. Now it’s my responsibility to have the issues repaired.

Overall we had a decent experience with Beck Inspects. I initially scheduled the inspection with the intention of being present the whole time; they suggested arriving about an hour after it started so I planned accordingly. I received a call right around the scheduled start time informing me the inspector had gotten there early and was almost done, so they wanted to check if I was coming so they could walk me through everything. I was 20+ minutes away and had to stop what I was doing -- not the end of the world, but I felt rushed and had no frame of reference for how long the inspector had even been at the property. The inspector walked us through each area, pointing out anything they were including in their report and answered a few questions for us. We received the written report within 1-2 hours of the inspection ending. I reached out a couple of times with additional questions and have had a hard time getting answers back. We also had one repair that ended up being significantly worse than noted in the report. I will say, they were fairly priced and made coordinating other inspections (sewer, lead, and pest) very easy. I just think the communication is severely lacking.

Richard was EXTREMELY thorough and made us feel at ease that our home had been fully and professionally inspected. His complete and professional report was prepared within a day, laying out every detail of the inspection and any suggestions to repair it.
