Lisa the escrow officer was great and easy to work with so what I’m about to say has nothing to do with her. A professional company should not be giving you the escrow information and wire instructions only two and a half hours before the earnest money deposit itself is due. As someone who works with wire transfers fir a living, I have seen this happen with several of my customers, and I thought they were waiting until the last minute because a title company would never do that. However, experiencing it myself, I now know how rushed they feel, and I now know it’s the fault of the title company. Simply unacceptable.
