I've been told all title companies are essentially the same, but I had some issues with LP Title. They were not responsive to my mortgage broker at the beginning of the process, and I'd strongly recommend double checking their closing disclosure as they got several things wrong, and even after I pointed out the errors some items remained uncorrected. They also forgot to include two documents that I needed to sign at closing and sent them to me urgently late in the day. Maybe this is standard among title companies but it seemed sloppy to me.
