The agents we worked with were quite disorganized, and took over 25 emails and several phone calls to organize remote settlement. 2 years into a pandemic, this is unacceptable. Very easy to work with. The Closing agent was friendly, professional and a pleasure to work with. She explained all of the items in the documents one-by-one, and was someone I would trust to work with again.

We had a very difficult buyer who chose this company. Normally, you would expect the buyer's agent, the buyer's lender, and the title company to work together to make sure everything's in order on closing day. In our experience, we found out the day before closing day that because someone had screwed up some paperwork, the buyer would not be able to close on the day we had agreed on. If that's not already bad enough (from a seller's perspective), no one was willing to accept responsibility for the screw-up, so we had to eat the cost of the delay. And to add insult to injury, the title company refused to adjudicate the "security deposit" we were forced to leave behind (even though the buyer forced us to move ON CLOSING DAY), even though it was their responsibility to do so particularly when the buyer's agent stopped communicating with us after closing. So what did the title company do? They made us pay $1,750 (half the deposit) for made-up (or highly inflated) repairs the buyer demanded we pay for. Bottom line: the title company may not have been (entirely) at fault for the closing day screw-up, but it certainly did not take the time to exercise their responsibility for adjudicating disputes between the buyer and seller. Avoid them at all costs!

Met with us on our schedule. We where living out of town. Coverd the concerns we had related to the possible changes in the future if we are not avaiable.

I do not recall the Mid-Atlantic Title representative's name but she showed up with a great attitude and her personality just fit right in with the rest of us. She was so organized and prepared the whole closing process was so quick and easy. Instead of a bunch a papers just being thrown at you for a signature we all were joking around and sharing stories which made the time just that more exciting. I left the table feeling great and couldn't believe it was that effortless. I would highly recommend using Mid-Atlantic Title.

Settlement paper work was prepared with errors, and when notified of these errors the response was just something along the lines of - sorry, computer error. No type of concession was offered, due to the mistake they made.
