I did a remote closing and Preferred Title made the process very smooth and stress-free. I’m very pleased with their services and would highly recommend.

My spouse and I don't have any joint accounts and we were told because of this the title company would not be able to wire funds to us after the closing even after we explained that we'd be willing to sign a document stating it would be fine with both of us. At the eleventh hour, we were told they would be able to accommodate us but it was a bit tense for a time.

I was not at all happy with closing process. I worked with a closing agent, but a different agent was at the actual closing... without notice. My wishes for wiring funds were not followed... it took 2 days to process funds. I was not informed of additional interest charges for paying for an over night payment.. That was suppose to be wired. When there was an issuer, I found out through my agent, instead of a phone call from preferred Title. I would not use them again. I did contact them and complain about document prep & wiring fees...which were then refunded. They were quick to act on my complaint.
