They scheduled our closing to be in their office which is in Bend (1 hour drive away) despite me requesting closing to be in my town of Prineville. I found out just a few days before closing and I’m glad that I corrected that. We had to reschedule to another week. Then I had to reschedule again because of a hospital stay so they accommodated that thankfully with a traveling notary. What upset me is that their office called me to try to close earlier for “their” convenience despite having a locked in notary appointment and that call at work upset me. I asked if they wanted to close early for their convenience or if it was at the sellers request and they dodged the question. I think that is unprofessional to ask us this, as we are the customer and to close early and change the closing date again would NOT be beneficial to us. I thought this was pushy, added more stress during a stressful time and I would not recommend them because of this and that they ignored my request to close in our town the first time.
