They were good. I met Patty at the office when I stopped by to drop the earnest money deposit. She is a very swell person. Overall, good communication and they got things done on time. That said, I wish the mobile notary they used was a bit more friendly. I used a mobile notary (different company) for a previous home purchase as well and they did a phenomenal job of explaining what each piece of paper was for (a summary of what I'm signing, what to look for, any key callouts to be aware etc.). Comparing the two, Columbia's notary seemed rushed through.
