Communication was not the best. Apparently a seller got an incorrect information from fidelity 3weeks prior to closing, which didn’t let all of us close on time. So in the afternoon one day before closing, we learned about the bad news and they were going to push the closing date for almost a week. Luckily because my agent (and the selling agent) worked hard to make things happen much quicker, we were only delayed to close by one day only. To me, it wasn’t fair that seller and buyer were stressing out because of fidelity. It was Fidelity’s fault that we couldn’t close on time (because they’re the one who gave an incorrect information to the seller), but they didn’t do anything to help the situation. We were calling, texting, trying to scramble things last minute (because of Fidelity), but during that time they wouldn’t even answer or get back to our emails/voice calls. I don’t want to be too negative, but I would not recommend fidelity as an escrow company. my stress level went up unnecessary because of them.

Communication was sporadic and difficult to get ahold of people at times which lead to an unnecessary scramble at the end getting final funds turned in.

Fast, communicative, made the whole process easy.

I cannot over emphasize how impressed I was with Fidelity National Title in Everett. There were additional steps and documents necessary in my sale and Christi Mills at Fidelity National went the extra mile and made the process totally seamless, efficient and painless from my perspective. At the end of the day things went smoothly and when there was a hiccup, they made amends. I do wish they were more courteous/professional overall. I would get one-liner emails saying "Please call me", and mysterious encrypted emails with no assistance on figuring out how to read it. When I tried to reach my point-person, the receptionist (who worked with me previously to arrange for the check pickup) had no idea who I was or what it was about (ie CRM). They would email each other passing the ball on who should send me certain documents - with me on CC! Little things like that which didn't match the etiquette and service level I got from Redfin and my Lender. During closing someone botched the scheduling of the notary so the person had no idea she was scheduled. She came very late and was apologetic. Fidelity was kind enough to waive the fee for that which I believe was fair. Prior to that were a few more one-liner emails asking if they had arrived. They got the job done, just rough around the edges when it comes to customer service.

Christi Mills at Fidelity was super for our home purchase. She stayed on top of everything needed for a marvelously thorough and efficient closing.

We had a big problem when it came to signing the papers for the house. The notary didn't show, but Anna helped to get things in motion first thing Monday morning so we could still close on time
