It was a little confusing that the contact information for the team we were supposed to work with, wasn't the team that initially reached out to me. When you are dealing with a company that is handling an enormous wire transfer, you want to feel like every single interaction is legitimate and gives you no reason to pause. We took extra time to reach out to our agents team to make sure everything was accurate, and I believe much of the confusion was driven by staff shortages and the current environment, but it was still a little concerning at the time. When it came to closing, the people were worked with in the office were helpful and professional.
