I work with First American in a professional capacity as well as in my personal life as my husband and I have now used Tami Habic and her team twice for our own title and escrow services. I don't imagine we will ever use anyone else. They are quick, responsive, friendly, and super easy to work with. We have even reached out to them outside of our home sale to help with things and they are always willing to help or point us in the right direction. Wonderful team, wonderful work. HIGHLY recommend.

They would have been great except there was a lot of duplicate information sharing due to their portal. We were under the impression we had already given all the info needed but it wasn’t recorded, which resulted in additional time and phone calls. Aside from that, the personnel we worked with were very helpful and service oriented.

A lot of fees and nickel/diming. I also asked a lot of questions. It was clear I was annoying them, but my questions did get answered to my satisfaction. They were also flexible to work with during the pandemic. I like the automated profile setup to see all the documents digitally in one place and sign as needed. When it came time for signing, the notary came to my house, and I had more questions that they couldn't answer. That was a frustrating part of the experience. While all my questions did eventually get answered, the process was clunky and frustrating when I actually needed to deal directly with someone.

They did an average job, what we expected, but they didn't go out of their way nor follow up with some of the items we expected and were told they would complete. Once we asked them, they completed the tasks, but not before.
